Governor Visit
Friends... Rotary Governor Came for official visit for our club on 22-07-11. A major Blood Donation Camp is organised in association with Gajuwaka Industrial Associations VASSI and IALA. Wheel chair is given to a college going girl, Note books and aids are given to children in our four adopted schools offcourse mangoes to children in adopted schools, which is a regular weekly practise is also combined, trees are planted ..new members are inducted into club.
Governor stressed on protection drinking water and low cost sanitation.. our club commited for construction of public toilets @ 50 in number this year...

Tree Plantation Programe
Friends, Tuesday 19-07-11 we organised tree plantation program at gajuwaka Autonagar..Sri Kotari Dora Babu Deputy Mayor , Sri SrinivasaRao GVMC Zonal Commisioner, Corporator Krishna Rao Graced the occassion.The Local colony People and Rotary Club Visakhapatnam South members participated in the tree plantation program.Deputy mayor is inspired by the work taken up by the Rotary club and he promised that Social forestry will be taken up in a very big way in Visakhapatnam and welcomed members from our club to give him the route map. GVMC Zonal Commisioner welcomed the proposal of adopting Roads and improving the greenary part.The related press cuttings and program photos are here with attached

END POLIO NOW FUND RAISING
- As a part of Polio Eradication lot of fund is required, we through our club approached different schools in vizag and the School children collected amazingly 3 lakh rupees
- Though it is exams time, the chidren took the cause in their mind and showed interest in pooling the money
- Nalanda Talent School , Sethammadhara Vizag Collected a record Rs 1,82,000/-
- Vignan ,Thimmapuram Beach road collected Rs 47,000/-
- Vignan, Siripuram, Vizag collected Rs 38,000/-
- Rani Memorial Vidyalaya,Pithapuram colony vizag .. a tiny school collected Rs 26,000/-
Today our rotary club Visakhapatnam south members went on to all these Schools addressed their assemblies and collected DD's from the Principal's of the institution.
We sincerely wish all the children who participated in this program A very good prosperous bright future ahead and may GOD bless the kids.
